another routine week

work

wow the weekends go by a lot quicker now that i have shit to do on fridays. for the past year my weekends usually started on thursdays, so every weekend was a three day weekend to me. work was chill day today a long one but really chill. i'm stock so i'm doing a whole lot of chillin in the back which means i get to listen to music. the past couple of shifts i have been working, i have forgotten my cds or ipod. which leaves me with standard fm radio.

i could tell you the top 10 songs they will play in a given two hours of radio play on the urban/hip-hop/r&b station out here. one song i'm near sick of is rihannas umbrella song. the song that i am really into right now though is keyshia cole "let it go" song. i know it's a girls song, but i think i'm just really into the song because they sampled biggies juicy track. the music and beat is just so chill and makes me always want to bob my head...i've even found myself dancing in the back....wouldn't you pay good money to see that sean?

although i'm really into mostly indie rock music i grow tiresome of it and any type of music that i listen to constantly. i remember when i was really into hip-hop but got tired of it, so i'm back and forth when to listening to music. but after a long hiatus of listneing to hip-hop i'm back into it thanks to my co-worker caesar. man this guy is one knowledgeable hip-hop guru not to mention he has some sick ink on his arm.

we worked together in the back yesterday and he schooled me on some good hip-hop right now that i've lost touch with. man if you thought brett was skinny you should see this guy...5'7-5'6ish and only 112 pounds!!! you've got to see him to believe it. he is one cool local vegas resident that i've met out here, and i could see myself chillin with him.

there are less than 12 people who work for the store so it's pretty intimate and everybody knows everybody.

r.i.p. chris benoit

man what another tragedy to lose another great wrestler. i don't follow wrestling anymore, but i do know chris benoit was around when i did follow it. they say he was one of the best technical wrestlers around and i did see that through out the years. thanks for the wrestling memores rabbit wolverine....4 horsemen for life!

you suck mcnabb!

so i forgot to mention i saw donovan mcnabb at our open bar event on friday.i asked to take a picture with him and he was like, "naw man, we don't want to start that" assuming that everyone knew who he was and wanted a pic. what a deusch! hope you get injured again next year buddy.

calm before the storm...

so this weekend is supposed to be madness for 944. it's our big 2 year anniversary party all weekend at the hard rock and hopefully i'll be doing more partying than working. other than that nothing else to report.
